Rain Rules

World Class. That is how I would describe Rain's Coming concert.
The scale, the lights, the drama, the colour, the whole presentation - It is worth every cent.. if I had to pay for my ticket.
I would happily see a repeat of the show and gladly pay the next time, if I have to pay.

A lot of his songs sound the same to me but, WHATEVER, who cares since it is a foreign language. I mean Bhangra music all sounds the same to me too.

Man, this guy is so fluid with his moves. He is an entertainer. A dancer.
A face of innocence with a body to tease. Swooooonnnnn.....Check back again later cos I will be posting video snippets of this mega performance. In the meantime, sweet dreams...

How to Bhangra

In a blink of an eye and three weeks had flown by since my last update. Not sure what happened in between which took up so much time.

Let me see, on New Year's eve, I went to a Punjabi party (no, not typo error, punjabi..not pyjamas). There were Sindhi people there too who, I was told, are different from Punjabi people but they all look the same to me. I was one of the two Chinese there.

Anyway, I was asked if I can do the bhangra dance. My hosts and their guests were very pleased when I nodded my head. Armajit pointed out to me that Bhangra is very easy.

He asked,"Do you know how to change the light bulb?". He held up his left arm and demonstrated the twist with his left hand.

Then he asked,"Do you know how turn the door knob?". Holding his right arm forward, he demonstrated the twist with his right hand.

"Now, do both together." He was jiggling.

He further added, "Okay, you can also alternatively stroke the lamb", rubbing his right hand in mid-air back and forth.

Lata had other tips. Apparently True Yoga is holding Bollywood dance classes. In particular, this teacher called Sri provides a storyline with the dance steps which would have the class on the floor in stitches.

Infected now by Armajit's jiggling, hmmm...I might just check out those dance classes.

How time flies..

HAPPY NEW YEAR!!
